《诗经·周颂》中的“文德”考释

A Textual Research in "the Virtue of Wen" in the Chapter of the Ode to Zhou Dynasty from the Book of Songs

关于《诗经·周颂》中的"文王之德"即"文德",历代论家都注释为"仁义礼乐"的政教或个人才德。但经多方考证,成于周初作品《诗经·周颂》中的"文德"意义并非指"仁义礼乐"的政教或个人才德,而是指文王的武功征讨战略。

Critics in past generations took the phrase the Virtue of King Wen, shortened as the Virtue of Wen, in the Chapter of the Ode to Zhou Dynasty from the Book of Songs for the political characters or personal abilities including benevolence, righteousness, courtesy and music by annotating. However, this thesis points out, on the basis of all possible textual researches, that the phrase can not be explained that way. It refers to the military accomplishments and strategies of punitive expeditions of King Wen.
