摘要
本文以功能语法理论为基础 ,试图论证名词化是实现语用预设的又一重要手段。名词化过程之所以能够实现语用预设 ,主要是因为它使“过程”变成“物” ,同时改变语篇中的主位结构及相应的信息分布情况 ,使非已知、非共有的信息在形式上变成已知或共有的信息 。
Based on the theory of Functional Grammar, this article attempts to identify another type of presupposition trigger, i.e., nominalization. Nominalization realizes presupposition by converting “a process' to “a thing' and changing the thematic structure and the corresponding information distribution in so that the unknown and unshared information formally becomes the known and shared information. Thus hidden message is smuggled in unnoticed.
