The Yin-Surnamed Clan of Mulao Ethnic Group and Its Marriage Circle

仫佬族集中居住在广西壮族自治县内,总人口仅4000余人。银姓宗族是仫佬族中的大宗族,在历史的长河中,该宗族形成了自己的宗族圈。宗族内的通婚和人口的繁衍是宗族活动的重要内容,其通婚范围的不同形成了宗族的婚姻圈。过去,银姓宗族的宗族圈和婚姻圈几乎相近,而今婚姻圈的拓展,不仅在生物学的社会意义上提高了该宗族人群的身体素质,而且发展了宗族及其他社区的社会关系和经济网络。

The Mulao ethnic group lives in the Zhuang Autonomous county of Guangxi, with a population of around 4,000. The Yinsurnamed clan, the biggest in the Mulao ethnic group, has formed its own religion circle over the long history of development. In the clan, marriage and multiplication has been an integral part of religious activities and the difference in the scope of marriage has led to different marriage circle. In the past, the clan circle and marriage circle of the Yinsurnamed clan were almost the same, but now, its marriage circle has been expanded so that the population quality are improved in both the biological and social sense and the social and economic relations with other communities, promoted.
