纵观西方哲学史 ,英国经院哲学家奥卡姆开启了对知识、命题进行分类的先河。接下来 ,洛克、休谟、维特根斯坦以及维也纳学派均提出过有关命题分类的理论。当然在维也纳学派那里命题的真伪问题也是他们论述的焦点。由此可见 ,我们可以在西方认识论哲学中 ,梳理出一条围绕“命题”

Epistemology plays a significant role in western philosophy and its central guestions include the orgin of knowledge,the place of experience in generating knowledge and the place of reason in doing so and so on.Therefore, it is a basic work in epistemology to discuss the questions of propositions. Through the history of Western Philosphy,one can find that the British philosopher Occam took the first step to categorize the knowledge and propositions.After that,Locke Hume,Wittgenstein and 'Viennese circle'also did great efforts to the questions of propositions.It is clear that we can find a clue ahout 'propositions'in the western philosophy.
