Ethical Relations between Nature and Human Beings

人类中心主义的伦理误区主要是不承认自然万物自身具有生存、存在的权利,否认人与自然是一种伦理关系。可持续发展的伦理关系涵括人与人、人与自然两对基本关系。把自然万物纳入伦理思考范围,难点在于如何理解自然物的权利,以及人与自然物、自然物与自然物之间权利的差异。

A major ethical error of anthropocentrism lies in its refusal to recognize the fact that everything in the world is entitled to subsistence and existence; it denies the ethical relations between the nature and the human being. The ethics of sustainable development involves the essential relations among human beings and between them and the nature. While taking the whole world into its ethical consideration, its difficulty lies in how the rights of other living things are understood, how human beings differ from other living beings and how other organisms are different from each other in their rights.
