摘要
英、汉两种语言的单位词的使用存在着许多不同之处,一般说来,英语的单位词远比汉语量词丰富,其与名词的搭配亦复杂于汉语单位词,尤其是一些固定短语的使用习惯.本文初步比较了英、汉单位词使用的一些特点,并着重就英语群体量词以及英语单位词的词汇意义等方面作了一些初步的探讨。
There are significant differences in the usage of unit words in English and Chiese.Generally speaking,there are far more unit words in English than in Chinese,and their collocation with nouns is also far more complicated than Chinese unit words,especially the usage of some set phrases.This paper gives a brief comparison and contrast between the usage of unit words in English and Chinese,and a brief discussion on English unit words referring to“groups”and connotation of English unit words.
