把中国建成什么样的社会主义及如何建设这样的社会主义?这是毛泽东从青年时代起直至去世都一直苦苦思索并努力解答的重大历史课题。在解答这一涉及中国命运的重大历史课题的过程中,毛泽东的社会主义观也经历了萌芽、形成和曲折发展这样三个不同时期,每一时期毛泽东对社会主义的认识各有侧重点。

What kind of socialist country should China be and how to build such a country? This is a major historic problem that Mao Zedong has been turning over and over in mind and struggling to answer since his youth and until his death. During the process of answering this problem vital to the whole country, Mao抯 socialist concept has experienced three stages: embryonic stage, shaping stage and developing stage. In every stage Mao Zedong has laid particular emphasis on socialism.
