培养学生具有较强的阅读能力是大学英语教学的主要目标之一 ,而阅读又是全面提高学生英语综合水平的关键。本文从明确阅读的本质着手 ,分析了影响英语阅读的主要因素 。

One of the main aims of college English teaching is cultivating reading ability, and reading plays the most important role in improving the students' language ability as a whole. Observing from the essence of reading, this paper attempts to analyse briefly the chief factors that influence English reading. It lays great stress on evaluation of developing reading ability. On the basis of these, the paper points out the enlightenment on English teaching.
