用天堂草419建造足球场草坪的评价与栽培技术研究

ASSESSMENT AND CULTIVATION TECHNIQUES OF 'TIFTON419' USED AS A TURFGRASS IN FOOTBALL PITCH

通过5种草坪草的对比实验,认为天堂草419(Cynodon dactylon×C.transuaalensis的一个品种)最适于建造足球场草坪。具有近于常绿、生长较快、匍匐矮生、根深及耐践踏等综合优良性状。在养护管理的实践中确立了一套栽培管理技术措施。

Among the 5 turfgrasses in our trial, 'Tifton 419' , a curtivar of Cynodon dactylon × C. transvaalensis, is considered the most suitable to be used in establishing football pitch turf. It has the good overall quality by being almost evergreen , moderately fast-growing , repent and deep-rooted, and enduring treading. In our practice of establishing and maintaining the 'Tifton 419' turf of a football pitch in Kunming, a series of techniques has been developed. The results of the trial are reported and the cultivation techniques of 'Tifton 419' are described in this paper.
