Maanshan Iron &Steel Co. Ltd. implemented the strategies of energy saving and consumption reducing and low cost in 1998.The energy consumption index is improved continuously. This not only saves a lot of energy sources, but also reduces cost of products and obtains better economic benefit. It also effectively reduces pollution and gas discharging of greenhouses and has obvious benefit of environmental protection and society. It makes a contribution to realizing clean production and sustainable development of the enterprise.
