Bone Morphogenetic Proteins(BMPs) are correlated directly or indirectly with a variety of bone diseases,such as genetic bone diseases,some neoplasms of bone and heterotopic ossification etc.To make clear the relationship between BMPs and bone diseases is helpful to understand the pathogenesis,progress and prognosis of these diseases,and provide guidance in choosing suitable treatment.This essay reviews the advances of recent years on the relationship between BMPs and bone neoplasms.
