A design was presented for digital video system based on fibre optic transmision.The theory of video signal conversion form analog to digital is recommended.Some problems are discussed,such as how to choose the frequency of sampling, how to choose the bits of quantization,etc.A scheme for design was put forward.Some effective measures were taken to tackle the practical problems.
