The wooden drum created by the Wa people plays an important role in their traditional social life. It is not only the divine instrument, which can communicate with God, but also the object worshipped by the Wa people. The wooden drum culture shows the miserable life of the Wa people in their struggle against the nature, and carries on the national spirit of the people, which strives for a better future in their whole community.
