用GnRH并列体二聚体主动免疫雄兔,并观察了免疫对雄兔血清睾酮与睾丸重量的影响。结果表明该方法能使雄兔血清睾酮水平降低,睾丸重量下降。

Active immunization of male rabbits with GnRH-tandem-dimer resulted i n decrease of testosterone concentration in the serum and testis weight, It sugg ests that active immunization against GnRH be a practically feasible castration method in male animals.
