It is concluded from the heat supply analysis for electric heating and heat supply by local thermal power plant,the comparison of a lump sum investments and heat supply costs,and the forecasts for the effect of local thermal power plant on the urban economy and environment and estimated financial effectiveness that electric heating has a higher lump sum investment than local thermal power plant,but it has a lower heat supply cost,and causes no contamination to the urban environment.
