The mathematics assignment that is based on developing the students' innovation consciousness and practical ability has the following features: vivid and vigorous forms, new and interesting contents, open and various thoughts, mutual and effective feedback. The article refers to the innovation design of the mathematics assignment, combining teaching practice. An attempt is made to design eight types of the mathematics assignment. They are interest type, information type, open type, research type, application type, situation type, multiple type and practice type.
