The Conflicts and Intercourse between the Semitic Civilization in the South and the European Civilization in the North during 5000 years’ World History

回顾世界史,欧洲、亚洲和非洲大陆可分为三大文明区:东方中华文明长期处于独立发展状态,北方欧洲文明和南方西亚北非塞姆文明长期处于冲突和交融的状态。以楔形文字和象形文字为起源的南方塞姆语文明起源早于北方印欧语文明,后者在前者的影响下发展起来,并征服了塞姆文明区。塞姆文明在中世纪以伊斯兰文明形式再度崛起,战胜了希腊罗马文明,并形成了阿拉伯和土耳其两个帝国。近现代欧洲文明又一次后来居上,为了争夺霸权发动了世界大战。伊斯兰文明各国在推翻欧洲殖民统治、争取民族复兴的斗争中取得了最后胜利。

There were three main civilizations in the world: the Chinese Civilization in the East which has developed independently,the Indo-European Civilization in the North and the Semitic Civilization in the South. In the Ancient World, the earliest Cuneiform and Hieroglyphic Civilizations appeared in the West Asia and North Africa and strong influenced the Greek and Roman Civilizations, which conquered the Near East later. During the Medieval period, the Semitic Civilizations revived in the form of the Islam Civilization and defeated the Byzantine and European countries. During the recent time, the European powers, disintegrated the Ottoman Empire and ruled the Semitic World and other states of the Near East. After the two World Wars, the Arabic nations and other countries of this area achieved their independence and resurgence.
