Since the 90s of the 20th century, Japan’s economy has been in a long period of depression, which is the most difficult time after the Second World War and is called “the Lost Ten Years”. Opinions on the causes of the depression vary but the mistakes made by the government in its controlling the crises cannot be neglected. In the recent ten years, the macroeconomic countermeasures made by the Japanese government have been approved to be ineffective. They failed to stop the declining economic situation and made the people lose their confidence in the government. Japan’s economy lacks the strength in its recovery and finds no way to extricate itself from the difficult position.
