重组二语心理词汇

Restructuring the L2 Mental Lexicon

母语心理词汇是有条有理的、按一定顺序排列的。正是这种有条理的特性才使词汇提取如此迅速又轻而易举。然而有证据表明,母语心理词汇在其发展过程中不是一成不变的,而是要经历一个重组阶段。但目前还没有证据表明二语心理词汇也经历这么一个阶段。这是因为二语学习者的目的语输入量不够,不能像母语心理词汇的重组那样自然发生。而二语心理词汇又迫切需要重组,这就要求二语学习者有意识地对二语心理词汇的结构进行调整,以使之安排更科学合理,词汇提取更快捷、高效。

The L1 mental lexicon is well-organized, and this well-organizedness makes rapid and easy retrieval of words possible. Evidence indicates, however, the L1 mental lexicon goes through a reorganization process, but there is no evidence to show that the L2 mental lexicon also goes through such reorganization. The absence of a natural reorganization on the part of the L2 mental lexicon is due to the input poverty of the L2 learners. Studies show that the L2 mental lexicon needs reorganization badly. Therefore, the L2 learners must make an effort to reorganize their L2 mental lexicon so as to make it more scientifically organized and so that lexical retrieval will become faster and more effective.
