Huang Zun-xian's overseas poems reflect the world conception of modern times from the systematic introduction and recommendation of the advanced capitalist system through the Vigorous promotion and advocacy of human consciousness to the extensive portrayal and description of modern occidental civilization and foreign landscapes and social conventions. This paper attempts to explore thoroughly and profoundly Huang' s overseas poems from the viewpoint of the modernization of Chinese verse with a view to highlighting the great significance of Huang's poems.
