美学是一门历史悠久而内容庞杂的学科,但其学科地位的合法性,基于在“美”、“美的本质”和“美的标准”等学科核心概念上,存在认识上的重大分歧和难以自圆其说的逻辑缺陷,而迄今无法得出一个经得起实践和逻辑证伪的确认。本文从历史上各家对上述核心概念最具影响的几种界定入手,用历史学、人类学和艺术学等学科的常识以及逻辑的辩难,试图证明其认识的某些偏颇乃至谬误之处,从而说明作为被承认为一门学科的美学,其学科资格还有值得商榷之处。

Although the Aesthetics is such a subject which has a long history and numerous and jumbled contents, but the validity of its subject status hasn' t been till now educing an affirmance that could stand the test of validation by practice and logic, because of that there are some fateful bifurcations and inconvin-cible logistic limitations about some core - concepts of this subject, just like the beauty, nature of beauty, and standard of beauty. This articale tries to prove the insularity or falsehood about some known cognitions of this subject through some well - known definition for above - mentioned concepts by some storied scholars, using the logistic debate and the common senses of history , ethnology and art - subject, thereby showing that there are still some questions about the validity of aesthetics, which had been admitted a subject.
