摘要
在视频点播(VideoOnDemand,VOD)系统中,由于网络延时和抖动的影响,使得接收到的数据包存在延迟和失序的问题;同时作为实时交互系统,还存在系统两端速率的匹配问题。文中针对VOD系统实现中的这两个问题,讨论了可行的解决方案:客户端的缓存管理和基于客户端的码率控制策略。在实验系统上的运行结果证实了笔者提出的方案的有效性。
Due to delay and fluctuation of the network in a VOD system,there are two issues relating the receiving of data packets,i.e.,delay and misorder.Meanwhile,as a realtime interactive system,a VOD system has another issue to be concerned,that is,rate harmonization on two sides of the system.Feasible schemes have been discussed about these two issues in this thesis-buffer management and rate control strategy on the client side in a VOD system.The feasibility of the proposed strategy has been verified by the experimental results of the actual system.
