In industrial process control system, PID control is still one of the most widely applied control methods. This paper primarily introduced the program design of the arithmetic PID of Programmable Controller in shut-ring control system of imitation control . According to the PID control and PLC characteristics, the method of drawing up program and the method of trying the program were introduced. The reasonableness of PLC program was verified by the response curve of PID control.
