A Web OA System Developed Based on Zope Platform

Zope是新一代开放源代码的Web应用程序开发平台 ,与常见的Perl,PHP和ASP等基于文件的Web开发工具相比较而言 ,它具有高度的面向对象特性和丰富的开发组件。将Zope与基于文件的Web开发工具进行比较 ,指出Zope作为Web开发平台所呈现的一些优点 ,并介绍了一个在Zope平台上开发的Web办公自动化系统 ,这个办公自动化系统支持工作流协议和时间触发机制。

Zope is a new open-source web application development platform, its highly object-oriented characteristics and rich components make it greatly different from common file-based on web development tools such as Perl, PHP and ASP. In this paper, we introduce Zope merits compared with common file-based on web development tools. With Zope and its some components, a workflow-based, time-trigger, Web-based OA system is developed.
