美术院校的素质教育应高度重视,要加强文、史、哲、艺术理论的教育。为此,美术院校必须更新教育观念,改革教学模式,通过对学生全面的素质培养和人文艺术精神的陶冶,培养出适合时代要求的复合型的新型美术人才。

In the current great tide of quality education, special attention should be paid to the quality education in art colleges. The education of theories of literature, history, philosophy and the fine arts should be strengthened in art education. For this purpose, art schools and colleges have to renew educational notions, and reform teaching modes, by improving students all-round qualities and cultivating their humanities spirit, to train comprehensive art talents who will meet the requirements of the times.
