摘要 多少年来,飞向太空,飞得更高,飞得更快,一直是人类孜孜以求的梦想。从神话小说虚构的“腾云驾雾”到民间故事幻想的“嫦娥飞天”,曾有过多少美丽的传说。然而,人类真正的飞行史则仅有百年。有清楚文字记载的人类首次飞行发生在1903年12月17日,美国莱特兄弟(W.&O.Wright)的飞机试飞成功,其飞行速度为56千米/时,飞行距离36.6米,飞行时间12秒。这个简单的飞行器开创了人类飞行的新纪元。 Historical events of manned flight are reviewed from a point ol view on flight speed. The era of hypersonic flight is expected to come in the new century. Four academic problems in gas dynamics which are the key to the hypersonic flight are discussed.
