Corporate Governance Efficiency under Different Cultural Backgrounds

许多研究都指出要提高公司的治理效率,必须考虑各国的国情,但如何具体地考虑国情却一直是人们关心的、具有挑战性的问题。为此,该文从不对称信息与公司治理的关系出发,通过构建不对称信息流动的模型,分别研究了中国、日本和美国文化背景对不对称信息流动的影响及由此对公司治理效率产生的影响,为探索适合我国文化背景下的公司治理模式提供参考。

Many studies show that it is necessary to consider the individual country's background in order to make corporate governance effective, but how to understand a concrete background in a certain country is a challenging problem. Therefore, based on relation between asymmetric information and efficiency of corporate governance, this paper studies the influence of cultural backgrounds of China, Japan and U. S. A on asymmetric information flows and efficiency of corporate governance. This paper gives an available reference for making corporate governance modes adapted to Chinese cultural background.
