亳在大伾说

A Study of Bo's being in Da-pi

“山川 ,所以傧鬼神也” ,上古“国必依山川”是为了君王能够通于神明 ,以神道政教天下。河、岳乃商作为天下大邦、共主之神灵傧居往来所在 ,祀之即祭祀其中的神灵。亳是建于大河要冲之大亻丕山上的商人宗邑 ,由其地则曰丕 (亻丕、山丕 ) ,筑邑其上则曰邳、韦阝 ,由其宗庙形象则曰亳 ,皆丕山之丕的音转 ,其山显灵瑞而商人兴 ,故宗于其上。文章从商代祭河与王邑制度说起 ,综合文献与考古资料 ,以两个前提、七重证据 ,论说亳在大亻丕山上 ,为商人百世不迁之庙。亳在大亻丕 ,则商史许多问题皆可以通解。

That'mountains and rivers are the places where gods and ghosts live',and that remote ancient'capital must be built between mountain and river',was for the king to communicate with spirits,to strengthen his governance.Sacrificing to Yellow River and Great Mountain,where the gods of Shang as a ruler of the world lived or passed by,was actually for the spirits there.Bo,as the Shang people's Zong Yi(宗邑)built in the key place of Yellow River-Mount Da-pi(丕?亻丕?山丕),was Called Pi (邳?韦卩)for it's building,called Bo(亳)for it's temple image,all of which came from the pronunciation of Pi(丕)?Sacred symbols emerged in Mount Pi that insinuated the Shang's rising up,so they had it a religion centre.This article starts from Shang's sacrificing to Yellow river and it's capital system,combines the literature and archaeology data,bases on two premises and seven proves,to elaborate that Bo was built in Mount Da-pi,and it was the Shang people's permanent temple.Recognizes that Bo was in Da-pi,many problems in Shang history will be explained perfectly.
