New Thinking of Social Development in China

当代中国经济持续、快速发展,突飞猛进,首次载人航天飞行圆满成功,标志着我国的综合国力和科技实力进一步增强;国人正从温饱社会向小康社会迈进。然而,我们也应当清醒地看到我国的社会结构却没有得到相应、及时地调整,社会共公事业没有得到相应的发展,管理体制还相当落后,城乡发展差别较大,伦理道德建设缓慢进行,法律制度尚未健全。为此,我们要清醒看到经济社会发展存在的矛盾和问题,要着眼当前,立足长远,用改革和发展的办法认真加以解决。

Contemporary economy of China has been continuously and rapidly developed, advancing by leaps and bounds, the success of space flight with a person marks that the overall national power and science and technology of our country has been further strengthened; the people are stepping to comfortable society from the society of simply having adequate food and clothing.However, we should clearly aware that social structure hasn't been correspondingly adjusted, social public utilities hasn't been correspondingly developed, management system still lagged behind, the difference between town and country is larger, ethics construction is slower, law regulations haven't been sound, so we should clearly realize existing contradictions and problems in social development of economy, we should have our eyes on the present, have a foothold on the future, and seriously solve the problems in reforming and developing way.
