Synchronic Differences of Endangered Languages—— A Case Study of Xianren Tujia Ethnic Languages (Part Ⅲ)

语言的共时差异往往反映历时的演变。濒危语言也一样,其濒危的状态及演变趋势能从共时呈现出的差异得到证明。本文通过对土家语语言功能衰退不同类型的共时比较,分析土家语濒危的特点及其演变趋势。

The synchronic differences of languages usually indicates the diachronic evolution of the language. So do endangered languages. The state of the endangered languages and the evolutionary tendency can be proved from the synchronic differences of the languages. This paper compares synchronically three different types of the Xianren Tujia language whose functions are declining, and analyses the endangered characteristics of the language and their evolutionary tendency.
