Characters in Chinese and Japanese Interact in the Writing Systems

中日两国都是属于"汉字文化圈"的国家,长期以来中国汉字对日语汉字的影响是功不可没的,这一点得到了学术界的肯定。而越来越多的迹象表明,日语中的汉语对中国语言文字体系的影响也不容忽略,本文旨在以汉字为媒介,探讨中日两国在语言文字体系中的相互影响。

This paper discusses the mutual influences of characters in Chinese and Japanese. It is pointed out that China and Japan are the within 'the sphere of influence of Chinese characters', and Chinese characters have been exerting great influences on Japanese characters for a long time. More and more indications show that characters in Japanese have considerable effects on Chinese writing system.
