It is of great importance to promote patriotism education for college students. Patriotism education consists of the education of socialism, sovereignty, the concept of the reform and open policy, national dignity and Chinese traditional culture. To carry out patriotism education, it is not only necessary to create a favorable atmosphere of public opinion, but also necessary to make full use of such cultural carriers as classrooms, campus and social practice.
