摘要 mate和"哥们"分别是澳大利亚英语和中文中常见的呼语词。本文通过比较mate和"哥们"的语用功能和词义,认为二者不仅在语义和语用功能等方面十分相似,而且包含类似的道德准则。 Mate and gemen are commonly used vocative terms respectively in Australia and China. A comparison between them has concluded that these two terms are very similar in terms of connotative meaning, pragmatic function and moral values.
