Analysis on Sweden's Postwar Neutrality Diplomacy

二战后,瑞典综合考虑各种因素,继续奉行其传统的中立外交政策,并在实践中形成了自己的特色。在东西方冷战对峙的形势下,瑞典通过中立外交政策,为自己赢得了相对超脱而安定的外部环境,从而保证了瑞典以有限的资源专心进行国家建设,并以自己独特的中立外交为国际社会做出了一定贡献。

After the Second World War, taking various factors into consideration, Sweden still pursued its traditional policy of neutrality and developed its own characteristics in practice. By means of neutrality, Sweden won the crown of safe and stable external environment against the background of east-west conflict represented by Cold War, and guaranteed its concentration on national construction with limited natural resources. Meanwhile, Sweden made a contribution to international society by its unique diplomatic policy of neutrality.
