国际冲突根源随着历史时代的变迁,而内涵不同。东西方不同学科领域、不同学派的学者,以不同的视角研究国际冲突根源,并赋予其不同的研究范式。不同的范式之争,贯穿着国际关系理论发展的始终。客观揭示不同范式之争的思想、社会历史以及理论渊源,旨在提高人类认识国际冲突的科学性,促使人类更理性的避免冲突,维护和平。

The roots of international conflicts have different connotation with the changes of the times. The oriental and western scholars from various fields and schools have been studying the roots of international conflicts from different points of view, thus presenting different patterns of study. The controversy over different patterns has always run through the development of the theory on international relationship. The efforts made to objectively reveal the ideas of controversy over different patterns, the social history and the origins of theories aims at making people better understand the international conflicts, avoid the conflicts more rationally and maintain global peace and security.
