What is the centre of the Record of the Grand Historian of China?

近几十年来有不少人撰文说《史记》是以写人为中心 ,这个观点并不符合《史记》实际内容。《史记》是以揭示“王迹所兴”历史轨迹为中心 ,从学术上总结历代王业兴衰的历史经验 ,实现司马氏父子作史上继孔子《春秋》的人生宏愿。以人为中心 ,与以王业为中心 ,虽然是三字之差 ,但却反映了解读《史记》的根本分歧。

The popular viewpoint on the Record of the Grand Historian of China is that the book focuses on the life stories of emperers and ministers.This paper holds,however,that the focus is on the rise and fall of different dynasties.The intention was to summarize the historical experience for later generations.The different focuses reflect the divergence in understanding this great work.
