综述了遥感技术在旅游规划中的应用,包括利用遥感影像测定旅游区所处的地理环境和地理位置、清查旅游资源的数量和质量;制作旅游规划基础底图;利用虚拟现实技术和遥感数据进行动态的旅游规划;作为地理信息系统的最强大数据源,开发旅游规划地理信息系统,为旅游决策服务等.并就不同的遥感数据在旅游规划中的应用现状进行了简单的介绍.

Remote sensing is a Hi-New technology developed in the past several decades' years. Many applications have been made in various fields. This paper discusses, the advantages of remote sensing technology in tourism planning & design. It includes the follow four aspects: (1) using the remote sensing image to determine the physical environment and the location of the tourism destination; (2) to investigate tourist resources' quantity and quality of the tourism resources; (3) to chart the basic map for the tourism planning & design; (4) to employ the technology of Virtual reality and remote sensing data to make dynamic tourist planning; (5) to us it as the strong data source of GIS to make tourist planning geographic information system to service for the tourist decision. Further more, the use of the various image of remote sensing in tourism planning & design is also expected.
