摘要
用UPS并辅以AES和TDS研究稀土金属钆单晶Gd(0001)与氧、水的作用。氧化过程中Gd(0001)经过一中间产物Gd^(+2)达到稳定的Gd_2O_3。最后得到Gd(0001)氧化面的UPS实际上是Gd_2O_3和OH的总和结果。
The reaction of rare-earth-metal Gadolinium, Gd(0001), with oxygen and water has been studied by UPS, AES and TDS. The Gadoliouniurn oxide surface has a intermediate Gd^(+2), then it gets a stable Gd_2O_3. The UPS of oxidized Gd (0001) surface is actually a total result of Gd_2O_3 and OH.
