摘要
语言学界对隐喻怀有浓厚的兴趣,对隐喻的研究呈多学科、多角度发展,同时也存在一些失误,如语义泛化、夸大隐喻源等.通过对传统隐喻理论的研究思考,我们认为隐喻的意义取决于词汇的创造性运用,而运用又有赖于一定的想象力和具体的语境.这一探讨有助于人们进一步了解隐喻的真实意义和起源.
Linguistic circles take a great interest in the study of metaphor, and there's a tendency to study metaphor from multiangles. Meanwhile some problems also exist in the study of metaphor. On the basis of the query about the traditional theory of metaphor, this paper approaches the significance of metaphor from the angle of application. The author holds that the significance of metaphor depends on the creative application of vocabulary, and such application relies on some imagination and particular context. This study is of great help for us to further understand the authentic significance and resources of metaphor.
