摘要
语用等值翻译即译者力求译文接近或等于原文的效果,既要注意具有明显民族文化特征的词语的翻译,也要注重对"言外之义"的理解与传达。
A translator should put emphasis on not only translation of words containing notable and distinct cultural characters but also the understanding on 'illocutionary act' if he or she wants the work to be equal or as close as possible to the original version in meaning. This is what we called pragmatic equivalence in translation.
