Russia is very rich in forest resource which plays very important role in the world.The forest resource in Russia has its own characteristics unevenly distributed in regions,relatively stability in succession,dominant in conifer species and the stock volume of mature and over-mature stands.These characteristics have provided a very good base for Sino-Russia cooperative exploitation of the forest resource in the Asian region in Russia.
