摘要
测量了 0 8at. %Nd3 + ∶Y0 .5Gd0 .5VO4的吸收光谱和荧光发射谱 ,光谱显示该晶体在 80 8 5nm有很强的偏振光吸收峰 ,且π偏振光 (E∥C)吸收远强于σ偏振光 (E ⊥C) 吸收 ,半高宽度分别为 4 5nm和 12nm ,吸收截面分别为 19 6 9× 10 -2 0 cm2 和 6 4 1× 10 -2 0 cm2 ;其荧光发射 (4F3 /2 → 4I11/2 跃迁 )峰值波长在 10 6 4nm ,半高宽度为 3 7nm ;4F3 /2 → 4I11/2 跃迁的荧光寿命为 110 μs;光谱特性表明Nd3 + ∶Y0 .5Gd0 .
In this paper, the absorption spectrum and the fluorescence (or emission) spectrum of the Nd 3+∶ Y 0.5Gd 0.5VO 4 crystal were measured; Its strong absorption wavelength is at 808 5 nm; Its π polarized absorption is stronger than its σ polarized absorption and their FWHM are 4 5 nm and 8 5 nm, respectively, their absorption cross section are 19 69×10 -20 cm 2 and 6 41×10 -20 cm 2, respectively; Fluorescence (or emission) spectrum FWHM at 1064 nm is 3 7 nm; Its fluorescence lifetime is 110 μs (Nd:0 8 at.-%); These properties show that Nd 3+∶ Y 0.5Gd 0.5VO 4 crystal is a kind of potential efficient laser material.
