Based on the theories of modern finance and macro-economics and with a view of the economic and financial characteristics of Canada, the paper attempts to formulate a function of demand for Canadian currency by means of quantitative analysis of the variables influencing the demand for Canadian currency as well as the relations between the variables, and then a probe is made into the relations between the supply and demand of Canadian currency and the national economic augment.
