On Development Strategy for the Knowledge-based Service Industry

The advent of knowledge-based economy, the neo-phase of industrial adjustment and the industrial transfer at the fortified stage bring about the growing emphasis on technological progress and innovative efficiency, together with increasing investment from the government. The paper, however, points out that the introduction of fund into technology is only one factor influencing the overall upgrade of a state's technology, and it is the innovative efficiency that is essential in technology development. The paper states that the study of the knowledge-based economy in the European countries and the U.S.A. shows that to achieve that aim, it will be unwise to ignore the knowledge-based service industry.
