Marriage of awaken the world (醒世姻缘传) is a social trend novel which had been written at the last stage of Ming dynasty. It recorded some circumstances of opera's performing and spreading in the late period of Ming dynasty. Five sons passing the imperial examinations(五子登科记) of them had not been recorded any works of opera bibliography. These opera data showed that opera's performing and spreading played an important function in the public everyday life, and affected people's spirit activity.
