包西线南段为我国铁路路网中“八纵八横”运输主通道“八纵”之一的“包柳通道”的重要组成部分 ,本文就其进行扩能改造的必要性作了综合分析。

The section between Yananbei and Xinfengzhen is an important component of 'Baoji-Liuzhou gangway' which is one of 'Eight Longitudinal Railway Lines' in the Chinese Railway network of 'Eight Longitudinal Railway Lines'. This paper comprehensively analyzes the necessity of innovation for promoting traffic capacity in the section between Yan'anbei and Xingfengzheng.
