翻译教学改革探析

Reflection on Teaching of Translation

随着近年来高等教育普及化,大学英语专业翻译课程的教学也应与英语专业其他课程一样做出相应的改革。文章提出翻译教学在现阶段应加强实用技巧训练以及实务翻译基本技能训练,并把英汉互译作一门课开。这样能充分利用教学资源,又有利于人才培养,使学生能尽快适应社会角色和社会需要。

Based on analyzing of the current situation of education in China, this article points out that the teaching approach of translation course should keep up with the development of the changes in college education. It proposes that translation skills or approaches have to be stressed and the course should be more business-oriented. This article suggests that the course should pack both English to Chinese and Chinese to English translation into one so as to fully use the facilities and sources and achieve more, and the learners can be benefited practically as well.
