现代西方环境哲学反思了人类中心论的种种局限和造成的现实恶果。尽管其作为一门学科,创立的时间不长,但其理论核心却与古希腊斯多葛派伦理学一脉相承,即人应当“合乎自然而生活”。联系现代西方环境哲学的发展和我国环保的实际,树立现代的环境伦理的理念具有重要的现实价值。

Modern western environmental philosophy reviews all sorts of limitations and realistics evil consequence caused by thetheory on regarding mankind as the centre.Though it was created not long as one discipline,the core of modern western environmentalphilosophy was direct successors of ancient Greek Stoic ethics,namely people should“live conform with the nature”.The theory ofestablishing modern environmental ethics has important realistic value,according to the development of the modern western environ-mental philosophy and the reality of environmental protection of our country.
