毛泽东的对外开放思想及未能实施原因探析

On MAO Ze-dong's Open-to-the-Outside Intention and its failure to implementation

毛泽东的对外开放思想,由同外国人做生意发展到引进外资、兴办企业,最后归结为一句话,向外国学习。由于美国为首的西方世界对新中国的封锁、禁运、包围,由于1960年代初期中苏关系的破裂,更由于毛泽东晚年犯了严重的“左”倾错误,致使毛泽东的对外开放思想未能付诸实施。

The paper maintains that MAO Ze-dong's Open-to-the-Outside thought started with business transactions with foreigners and later developed into the introduction into China of foreign investment, but regretfully ended in failure to implement because of MAO's Leftist errors as well as the Western governments' threatening policies toward China.
