代表最广大人民的根本利益是“三个代表”的根本问题

A Fundamental Issue of "The Three Represents" ——Represent the Essential Interests of the Broad Masses of the People

党中央之所以把代表中国最广大人民的根本利益作为"三个代表"的根本问题,是因为它体现了党的根本宗旨,总结了中国共产党建设的根本经验,揭示了原苏联亡党亡国的根本教训,提醒我党要高度重视解决能不能代表最广大人民的根本利益这样一个根本性的问题。全面理解代表中国最广大人民根本利益的科学内涵和基本精神,要全面正确理解"最广大人民"、"根本利益"、"代表"的科学含义。学习贯彻"代表最广大人民的根本利益"必须抓住执政为民这个本质。贯彻落实代表最广大人民的根本利益的关键是要从思想、政治、组织、作风以及法规和制度上加强执政党自身的建设。

Representing the essential interests of the broad masses of the people' reflected the Party's basic purpose, summarized the experience of the construction of the Party, revealed the fundamental lessons of pre-Soviet and reminded the Party that a special attention should be paid to the essential issue, therefore, it was taken by the Central Committee of the Party for the fundamental issue of 'The Three Represents'. In order to fully understand the scientific connotation and spirit of this issue, the scientific implication of 'the broad masses of the people''essential interests''represent' should be correctly comprehended. Emphasizing the essence of 'ruling for the people', the construction of the ruling party must be strengthened in the respects of thought, politics, organization, style, statutes and institutions.
